Friends of the Earth: Inverness and Ross, Stall at Culbokie Farmers Market on 20.9.2008

We ran a stall at Culbokie Farmers Market on Saturday 20th September. We were particularly concentrating on Friends of the Earth Scotland's 'Big Ask' Campaign and got quite a lot of postcards signed ready for Maggie to take to head office. These will be delivered in bulk to MSPs to put pressure on them to make the Climate Change Bill as strong as possible. We had a number of keen children who drew pictures of melting ice caps, worried polar bears and dead reindeer with the message 'stop the ice melting!' to send to their MSPs. We also gave out leaflets and advice on microgeneration and had some people interested in joining the local group.
